Oil Leak

I have a fairly good flowing oil leak on my front left wheel. It does not appear to be coming from the swivel joint, but from between the swivel joint housing and the break anchor plate.
It is dripping down where the shine is in the first picture, close up in the second.
If anyone out there has seen this before please contact me.
Thanks

So Far

Have driven about 40 miles, little trips. Everyone seems to love it. Lots of compliments and stories of other people's dream cars.

Issues to resolve:
Copious oil leak on front left something or other behind the wheel
Transmission twice popped out of third gear
Runs rich, bit smoky on start up
Need belts for the back benches

Would like to get:
Hardtop, specially the Ex-Panda
Winch (maybe two)
Fog lights/some more lights

Would also like to figure out what the switches are for on the dash. I was told this was a rebuilt by the head mechanic at the Ashville, NC Land Rover dealership.

Hey look, I'm an electrician

So I picked up my 1964 Land Rover Series IIa yesterday. The mechanic who picked it up for me couldn't get it started. I think he was afraid of damaging it more than not knowing what to do.
First problems: electrical. Trouble with the rear left blinker (turn signal). Messed about with the connections on the rear of the truck for half an hour, got them going when they should. (as I was messing about I managed to get the break lights to work with the blinkers, close but no cigar)
Then the running lights didn't work. This happened once when I test drove it, then they came on all by them selves when I was standing next to the truck. Removed the dash panel and there was a loose connection.

I bought the big green Land Rover Series II & IIa Repair Manual. Nice.

Here she is

I like it. So does my daughter. Coolest truck in town, most likely. Bit nervy about the right hand drive. Couple wiring issues to toy with.
Gotta finish the garage.
